Alison made me and my family so welcome and it felt like home from home with a touch of France added.

The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, flexible breakfast times and easy come and go as we wished.

I would recommend it and would stay again.

Un Séjour Parfait !!

Séjour très agréable chez Alison qui est une hôtesse chaleureuse et attentive ; ses petits déjeuners étaient excellents.

Comme nous restions une semaine, Alison nous a proposé la très grande chambre du haut.  Je recommande cet endroit très vivement.

Lovely stay !  Very impressed with the whole package and a breakfast “par excellence“.

What a wonderful time we had in Cider House with our lovely host, Alison. She looked so well after us and made sure we had everything we needed all the time, that it was really hard to go !

The rooms are just perfect, very clean and decorated with taste.

And the breakfast : scrumptious !!

character & charm…

Superb !  An excellent hostess, very welcoming and helpful who provided a varied and hearty breakfast.

This large 18th century home is full of character and charm, and very clean throughout. The bed was very comfortable and offered a good night’s sleep.

I definitely recommend ‘The Cider House’ and am already planning a return visit for next year.

An Excellent Stay

 We stayed here as we were attending a wedding. Alison was very welcoming and friendly, and showed us many kindnesses– extra cups of tea, cake etc.

The place was beautifully situated near the town centre and also provided parking.

My wife and I felt that this was the best place we had ever stayed in for bed and breakfast and we would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the Jugon area

I loved my stay at The Cider House, an impressive B&B ! A wonderful place with a warm welcome.  Thank you so much as I thoroughly enjoyed our stay – especially with the square but a stone’s throw away!

The walk around the lake was beautiful & so peaceful.  Although I have to say that more wine was consumed than cider !  With love…
